Dear Potential Parents, I hope you enjoy this new website.  Our goal is to give you a taste of the life that is lived here at ICS - Caracas.  I can think of no better word to describe our school than life.  This life is made evident in the hearts of teachers who have come from all over North and South America to teach here, because of the love God has placed in them for education and students.  This life is apparent in the students who find joy in the friendships, athletics, fine arts, and yes, even in the studies that they are involved in here at ICS - Caracas.  This life is obvious in the parents who see their children being taught how to make good decisions as they begin to develop their lives for a greater purpose and not just living for the moment.
As a parent looking for schools, your first objective must be to seek what is the mission of the school.  Secondly, you must decide if the school is accomplishing its mission.  In a world where the youth seem to be losing their sense of purpose and values, it is our privilege to provide an education where teachers integrate biblical values in to each class and model them with their lives.  The mission of our school is as follows:

We exist to provide education that empowers each student to independently operate in various cultures, serving the people of all religions, and excelling in various levels of learning.  Our academic goals will challenge students to become critical thinkers who reason according to the truths established by a Biblical worldview, and to be able to clearly communicate their knowledge in both English and Spanish.

ICS - Caracas has the freedom to not only teach to the intellect of the student but to the whole student.  The Post Modern world has made it taboo to talk about religions in school today.  And yet, there is no greater deficit in our societies than the need to provide each individual with the tools to find out the greater truth in life, and thus build their purpose on eternal things.  ICS - Caracas not only teaches the mind to desire truth and to look for it in all areas of study, but to realize that it is attainable and life changing.  In fact, in just this past year five new parents have commented to me how their child has completely changed, even in his/her character at home.
